Local business consulting firm enhances capabilities and expertise through valuable marketing and technology hires.

Milestone Advisors, a local business consulting firm specializing in business strategy development to help entrepreneurs plan and succeed, has expanded its client offerings through the addition of two staff members who are experts in technology, marketing and sales.

Originally founded as a consulting group specializing in accounting and finance, Milestone Advisors now boasts a comprehensive list of strategic services across multiple business disciplines. The company now offers market research and analysis, management and operation services, and human resources and technology strategy in addition to its accounting and finance areas of expertise.

“Over time, our clients began to ask our advice concerning additional functional areas of running a business,” said Glenn Dunlap, a managing partner at Milestone Advisors. “It was a natural decision to expand our services to provide access to strategic advisors across the boards.”

Leading the effort to offer a more complete suite of services is the addition of Douglas Allgood to Milestone's team. Allgood has held leadership positions at various companies including Ontario Systems Corporation, Roche and Chemtura. Allgood will provide Milestone clients with expertise in strategic planning and execution, product and portfolio management, technology architecture and design, acquisition and integration of companies, as well as business plan development and implementation.

Jeff Chapman has also joined Milestone to provide clients with consulting services regarding new product/service development, product launches, brand identity and management, market research, customer segmentation, strategic planning and business development.
